33 Variations was nominated in the following categories: Best Production of a Play (Intimate Theatre), Acting Ensemble of a Play, Direction of a Play, Lighting Design (Intimate Theatre), Scenic Design (Intimate Theatre), Sound Design (Intimate Theatre), Costume Design (Intimate Theatre) and Video/Projection Design.
